Aerial photography
Capturing geological formations from an aerial perspective reveals landscapes from unseen viewpoints, creating a sense of intrigue and wonder through patterns, textures, and colours not seen from below.
Coastal environments that may appear familiar at eye level are transformed into new, inspiring compositions, but they remain reminiscent of the intricate details that make up their close-up components.
These images have become a significant source of inspiration for my current prints, particularly through their complex rock patterns and shapes. I am keen to continue exploring and documenting new geological landscapes.
